Job Summary: Performs a variety of laboratory tests and assays in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulations in a designated technical department. Interprets results, subject to verification by Technologist/Supervisor, and providing allowance by State regulations.

The work schedule for this position is: 1st shift - Tuesday - Saturday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Job Requirements:
- Perform stat urinalysis dips and stat pregnancy tests for obstetrics and gynecology clinic.
- Perform daily and monthly maintenance.
- Record all quality control and order lab inventory.
- Responsible to report all lab concerns to the Lab Director.
- Administrative tasks - answering phones and maintaining logs/records, and utilizing computer databases
- Organizational skills especially time management
- Proficiency with numbers
- Communication skills-written and verbal
- Assist training of employees when required
License/Certification/Education:
- BA/BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or other related science or all required city/state/licenses or permits to qualify as a Technologist
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical lab experience
