We are currently seeking a Billing & Revenue Manager to lead our global billing operations and revenue recognition functions for the Central Laboratories business, a division of Labcorp's Biopharma Laboratory Services business. This position will manage a team responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant billing processes across multiple business units. The ideal candidate brings leadership experience, financial acumen, and a strong understanding of ERP systems to drive continuous improvements and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
Manage a team of 5-10 direct reports and 5-10 indirect reports, with full responsibility for hiring, coaching, scheduling, performance reviews, and staff development. - Billing Operations:
Oversee daily billing activities, month-end close, and revenue recognition to ensure compliance with contracts, GAAP, and SOX. - Cross-functional Collaboration:
Partner with IT, Finance, Sales, and Client Services to resolve billing issues, improve systems, and enhance client experience. - Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and implement automation tools that increase efficiency and reduce errors. - Training & Support:
Provide guidance and training to the billing team on systems and practices; ensure data issues are identified early and resolved promptly. - Contract Reconciliation:
Manage contract and project close-out processes with a focus on accuracy and compliance. - Technology & Systems:
Participate in ERP enhancements, UAT testing, and RCM software updates; lead or support special projects and acquisition integrations. - Reporting & Insights:
Develop and maintain dashboards in partnership with Finance Systems CoE; use data to track performance and inform decision-making. - Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:
Solicit feedback to improve Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) processes and collaborate with external consultants on system upgrades.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 7+ years in billing/accounts receivable in a global, multi-site environment
- 4+ years leading global teams in remote or hybrid settings
- Expertise in ERP systems (PeopleSoft and Oracle preferred)
- Familiarity with GAAP, SOX, and revenue recognition principles
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Proficient in Office 365 tools (Excel, OneDrive, Power BI); Alteryx a plus
- Experience in working with large datasets to aggregate and prepare complex AR invoices
- Experience with monthly/quarterly/annual closing, reporting and internal/external audit inquiries and analysis
- Experience in life sciences or drug development industry is a plus
