Technical Project Manager

Today Flexible / Remote

Who We Are

At Kyndryl, we design, build, manage and modernize the mission-critical technology systems that the world depends on every day. So why work at Kyndryl? We are always moving forward - always pushing ourselves to go further in our efforts to build a more equitable, inclusive world for our employees, our customers and our communities.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and client-focused Technical Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of cloud modernization and migration initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure, who has worked in consulting and is comfortable managing complex, enterprise-grade transformation projects. You will be responsible for driving the full project lifecycle-from planning and design to migration, implementation, and stabilization-working closely with architects, engineers, and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of cloud modernization and migration projects, including legacy application migration, infrastructure transformation, and Landing Zone deployments.
  • Act as the primary liaison between client teams and internal technical resources, ensuring project objectives, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and communication to ensure alignment, transparency, and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Define and manage project scope, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risks across multiple workstreams.
  • Drive project execution using Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies, including backlog management, sprint planning, and regular reporting.
  • Collaborate with solution and cloud architects to support the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and compliant cloud solutions.
  • Support organizational change management and adoption planning related to cloud migration efforts.

Who You Are

You're good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. However, equally as important - you have a growth mindset; keen to drive your own personal and professional development. You are customer-focused - someone who prioritizes customer success in their work. And finally, you're open and borderless - naturally inclusive in how you work with others.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager to lead transformation or migration projects.
  • Proven track record delivering projects in Cloud Environments (Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP or OCI) including knowledge of Cloud Landing Zones, cloud governance, security and migrations.
  • Experience working with infrastructure modernization, application rehosting/refactoring, or hybrid cloud integration.
  • Background in consulting or customer-facing roles within professional services or system integrators.
  • Strong project management skills with expertise in tools JIRA, or MS Project.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or Cloud certifications are highly desirable but not a must.
  • Nice to have Microsoft Azure or other hyperscale fundamental certification

Nice to Have

  • Infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates, based project delivery experience
  • Good understanding of DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, or automated deployment practices.
  • Background working in enterprise-scale or multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).

This position requires the employee to work on a regular basis with Kyndryl stakeholders located in other Canadian provinces, the United States, or internationally where English is the common language, making knowledge of the English language a requirement for this position in addition to fluency in French.

Being You

Diversity is a whole lot more than what we look like or where we come from, it's how we think and who we are. We welcome people of all cultures, backgrounds, and experiences. But we're not doing it single-handily: Our Kyndryl Inclusion Networks are only one of many ways we create a workplace where all Kyndryls can find and provide support and advice. This dedication to welcoming everyone into our company means that Kyndryl gives you - and everyone next to you - the ability to bring your whole self to work, individually and collectively, and support the activation of our equitable culture. That's the Kyndryl Way.
