Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement modernization strategies for mainframe applications.
• Leverage tools and technologies such as AWS Mainframe Modernization service, Micro Focus™, and other cloud-native services to replatform and modernize legacy systems.
• Conduct assessments and lead workshops to gather customer requirements and deliver tailored modernization solutions.
• Automate the provisioning and management of AWS mainframe modernization environments.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in application development and deployment for Mainframe or IBMi platforms.
• 5+ years of experience in application migration and modernization.
• Strong background in application architecture, middleware, and data integration.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as COBOL, PL/I, Python, and Java.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Mainframe Modernization service, Azure Skytap, Arcad Software suite, or similar cloud-native tools.
• In-depth understanding of mainframe technologies and architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience supporting stakeholders in risk assessment and mitigation planning.
• Fluency in French is preferred but not required.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• AWS certification or equivalent cloud certification.
• Experience with modernization tools and platforms such as Micro Focus™, Astadia, Bluage, Cast, or RainCode.
• Knowledge of mainframe security practices and associated tools.
