Responsibility Includes:

  • Design and implement integrations between CMDB, Service Catalog, and third-party systems
  • Implement and maintain data validation, normalization, and reconciliation rules for CMDB accuracy
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure performance, scalability, and security
  • Document integration designs, data mappings, and technical specifications
  • Develop ServiceNow Solutions in the ITSM, with minimum bugs and rework
  • Collaborate with Process Analyst and Architect to ensure the developed features follow ServiceNow best practices
  • Keeps up-to-date with the new releases and features of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Developing, configuring, and customizing the ServiceNow platform to fit business requirements.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code requires expertise to achieve.
  • Staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies in ServiceNow development ensures your success.
  • Integrate ServiceNow modules with other enterprise systems to create a seamless and efficient information flow.
  • Create and update CMDB catalog items, forms, and views, transform maps, IRE, Script Includes and Business rules.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

  • 8+ years hands on experience in ServiceNow development
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), and Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Expertise in creating and maintaining ServiceNow objects: tables, business rules, client scripts, UI actions, UI policies, script includes, and workflows
  • Experience in writing test cases and performing unit testing for quality assurance
  • Strong command of JavaScript, Glide API, and Flow Designer scripting
  • In-depth knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes (Incident, Change, Request, Problem)
  • Extensive hands-on experience with CMDB and CSDM (Common Service Data Model)
  • Experience in designing and maintaining Transform Maps and IRE (Identification and Reconciliation Engine) rules
  • Experience integrating Service Catalog with CMDB for provisioning, updates, and asset creation
  • Experience building dynamic catalog items, variables, UI policies, and associated workflows
  • Knowledge of CI lifecycle management, CI class modelling, and state transitions
  • Ability to maintain data integrity, perform reconciliation, and use CMDB Health Dashboards
  • Familiarity with Service Mapping and Discovery tools (beneficial, not mandatory)
  • Strong experience in API integrations using REST, SOAP, and scripted APIs
  • Proficient in Integration Hub, JDBC, LDAP, and MID Server-based integrations

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Implementation Specialist - ITSM (CIS-ITSM) certification.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
