Role Overview

A ServiceNow Business Process Consultant is responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes using the ServiceNow platform, while communicating effectively in two languages. This role combines technical platform expertise, process improvement skills, and the ability to work across diverse teams and stakeholders in multilingual environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement integrations between ServiceNow and third-party platforms, programs, and applications using industry best practices and ServiceNow tools (e.g., IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, scripted APIs).
  • Gather and analyze user requirements, translating business needs into technical integration solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure integrations support overall project goals and business outcomes.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and optimize integration issues, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ServiceNow features, integration technologies, and related enterprise systems.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for integration solutions, providing guidance and support during implementation and ongoing operations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for integration architecture, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Participate in process flow analysis, process redesign, and solution demonstrations as required.
  • Ensure integration solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture and governance policies.
  • Determines which integration method(s) will be used, integration directionality, and attributes
  • Participates in any data normalization required prior to being imported / inserted into ServiceNow as well as participates in platform, process, and integration testing
  • Support and mentor team members, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices.

Bilingual Requirements

  • Communicate complex technical and business concepts clearly and effectively in both required languages (e.g., English and French).
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and documentation in both languages to ensure all stakeholders are engaged and informed.
  • Support global or cross-border projects, navigating cultural and linguistic differences to drive successful outcomes.

Who You Are

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform development and integrations, including hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and scripting (JavaScript).
  • Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM and FSO) and experience integrating with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and other enterprise tools (including ServiceNow ebonding) is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of web-based, service-based, and enterprise application architectures.
  • Experience with data management, database design, and middleware technologies.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex integration issues.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) and at least two mainline CIS certifications preferred.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Experience with security protocols (LDAP, SSO, VPN, SSL, SAML) and encryption best practices.
  • Ability to create high-level architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AI/ML integrations, ServiceNow AI features (Virtual Agent, NLU, AI Search), and automation tools.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow.
  • Experience with Self Hosted implementations and/or Domain Separation.
  • Strong presentation and report-writing skills, with the ability to operate in culturally diverse environments.

This position requires the employee to work on a regular basis with Kyndryl stakeholders located in other Canadian provinces, the United States, or internationally where English is the common language, making knowledge of the English language a requirement for this position in addition to fluency in French
