Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.

Required Technical and Professional Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in infrastructure automation, with strong hands-on expertise in vRA/vRO.
  • Deep knowledge of vRealize Automation 8.x (Aria Automation Suite) and vRO scripting (JavaScript).
  • Experience designing Cloud Templates, XAAS blueprints, Resource Actions, and Event Broker subscriptions.
  • Strong scripting capabilities in JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash, and optionally Python.
  • Good understanding of infrastructure components like VMware vSphere, RedHat Linux, and Windows Server.
  • Exposure to DevOps tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Chef for hybrid automation needs.
  • Ability to lead technical design discussions and make architectural recommendations.
  • Experience with version control systems and automation code lifecycle.
  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced provisioning workflows using vRA and vRO across Linux and Windows platforms.
  • Lead technical design sessions, guide architecture decisions, and enforce best practices in automation development.
  • Translate high-level requirements into actionable automation workflows and integrations.
  • Enhance and optimize existing automation patterns for scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with architects, operations, and stakeholders to define and deliver automation use cases.
  • Serve as a technical point of contact in client interactions, requirement discussions, and solution walkthroughs.
  • Provide technical mentoring and oversight to junior developers without formal people management responsibilities.
  • Ensure automation solutions are documented and aligned with change management and operational processes.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and modern deployment pipelines.
  • Understanding of ITIL-based processes and working within SLA-driven environments.
  • Prior experience in cross-team collaboration, technical leadership, or Agile practices.
