Essential Skills, Duties & Responsibilities:
This role encompasses all aspects of US international tax compliance and reporting, quantitative modeling, and forecasting.
- Compute and/or review the actual and forecasted net US tax cost of income earned by controlled foreign corporations, foreign branches/disregarded entities, and foreign partnerships.
- Work with Kyndryl Accounting and Kyndryl Finance/FP&A to gather data necessary to facilitate seamless, timely and accurate US international tax reporting and compliance.
- Work with our International Tax Operations and Accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate submissions of information for foreign legal entities, branches and partnerships to our outsourced tax service provider.
- Review the calculations of foreign branch income flowing into the US federal tax return, Subpart F income, GILTI, FDII, E&P/PTEP, foreign tax credits, allocations/apportionments of expenses -- for the US tax return, short-term and long-term forecasts, and the quarterly/annual tax provision process.
- Manage the tax compliance outsourcing engagement as it relates to US tax reporting for the foreign subsidiaries, branches and partnerships, including coordination of information requests and review of US international tax filing requirements including, but not limited to, Forms 5713, 8858, 8865, 5471, 1118, 8990, 8991, 8992 and 8993, as well as UTP disclosures, dual consolidated loss positions, and other required statements/elections.
- Manage the tax compliance outsourcing engagement as it relates to other aspects of US reporting, including US income tax withholding, FBAR and FATCA.
- Review of the items referenced above as they relate to the consolidated tax provision prepared in accordance with US GAAP, as well as any relevant tax disclosures in SEC filings.
- Collaborate in connection with the Pillar 2 compliance and provision process from a US perspective, collaborating with our Tax Accounting, International Tax Operations, Tax Planning and Transfer Pricing teams.
- Monitor US international tax developments and work closely with Senior Tax Leaders on analyzing the impact of proposed and/or new tax legislation and rulings for Kyndryl.

Required Skills, Experience and Circumstances:
- JD/LL.M and/or CPA/MST required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in international tax compliance and reporting required.
- Big 4 public accounting firm or large multi-national corporate experience is preferred.
- Must be able to read and interpret the IRC, Treasury regulations and other relevant pronouncements.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Must be highly motivated and organized, a self-starter and have attention to detail.
- Ability to develop relationships and work collaboratively with teams and multi-tasking.
- Must have an in-depth knowledge of US international tax technical rules, US international tax quantitative/modeling skills and experience managing the international components of the US federal income tax return.
- In-depth knowledge of US tax provisions affecting international operations, including GILTI, BEAT, Subpart F, foreign tax credits (including the allocation/apportionment of expenses), FDII, foreign exchange transactions and hyperinflationary currency rules.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with tax reporting systems (S-4Hana)

Compensation
The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $120,360 to $228,840 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.
There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:
California: $132,480 to $274,560
Colorado: $120,360 to $228,840
New York City: $144,480 to $274,560
Washington: $132,480 to $251,640
Washington DC: $132,480 to $251,640
This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
