The Role
As the Associate Director for Cloud Practice Communication, you will be responsible for developing content and writing stories that position Kyndryl as an innovative partner, guiding customers on their journey to becoming cloud-first enterprises. We seek a strategic writer to create persona-focused content for internal and external audiences. You will leverage your expertise in Cloud computing, hyperscaler technology, business and IT transformation, and cross-functional collaboration to influence pipeline generation and shape Kyndryl's market perspective.

Essential Skills, Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop storytelling strategies and create communications content that present Kyndryl Cloud services as an innovation partner for customers.
- Write Executive Narratives: Create compelling narratives and presentations for executive and CxO audiences that align with our Cloud priorities and strategy while resonating with customers.
- Amplify Transformational Stories: Discover and share transformational stories by:
- Developing keynote presentations for global conferences, executive briefings, and industry events.
- Leveraging deep experience in creating impactful stories using PowerPoint and Word.
- Steering narrative development for customer engagements and analyst interactions.
- Collaborating with visual designers to enhance stories through visual storytelling, multimedia content, and digital experiences and also apply compelling narratives to presentations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Influence and collaborate with teams across Communications, Marketing, and Sales Enablement to ensure aligned and consistent messaging.
- Executive Community Building: Build strong collaborations with leaders across the organization to create and disseminate cohesive executive narratives.
- Project Leadership: Operate in a fast-paced, executive-level environment, managing multiple high-visibility projects with strategic impact.
- Social Eminence: Collaborate with leadership on proof-of-value, strategy, vision, and whitepapers; drive programs for personal and peer social eminence that reinforce core messages through blogs, articles, interviews, and other marketing programs

Required Skills, Experience and Circumstances:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 12+ years of relevant work experience in communications, thought leadership, storytelling, or strategic content development.
- Exceptional ability to translate technical services delivery into impactful stories that resonate with executives, IT decision-makers, and business leaders.
- Expertise in developing executive presentations, keynote content, and presentation storytelling for global audiences, with a strong background in visual storytelling.
- Expertise in technical writing to create compelling articles and blogs for both external and internal audiences which simply align technological developments with business benefits and outcomes and excite and motivate readers to think about Kyndryl as a preferred partner in Cloud.
- A proven track record in crafting high-impact narratives for executives in digital transformation and IT and business modernization in the Cloud or tech industry.
- A deep acumen of how IT organizations are run.
- Strong understanding of IT, Cloud technologies, Cloud native services, Cloud hyperscalers, Cloud managed services and of industry trends in digital transformation, cloud modernization, and multi-cloud operations.
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
- Experience in environments where messaging directly influences pipeline.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams-including offering, delivery, executives, marketing, sales, and communications professionals-to align on messaging strategy.
- Ability to work closely with senior leadership and guide them in communicating the value of complex IT solutions in ways that resonate with diverse customer and industry stakeholders.
- Strong investigative and journalistic instincts to uncover and shape compelling, real-world transformation stories that demonstrate technology's business impact.
- Executive presence and excellent communications skills
- Exemplary content development, presentation, proposal creation, and writing skills. Superior knowledge of design in PowerPoint and other tools.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Marketing experience is a plus.
- Project management experience. Cross-functional collaboration and communication abilities. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Hyperscaler certifications.

Compensation
The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $138,480 to $263,160 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.
There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:
California: $152,400 to $315,720
Colorado: $138,480 to $263,160
New York City: $166,200 to $315,720
Washington: $152,400 to $289,440
Washington DC: $152,400 to $289,440
This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
