JOB DESCRIPTION
Evaluate work methods and best practices from a variety of sources. Study and quantify methods and best practices by building labor standards that utilize established method-time measurement (MTM) practices. Document MTMs within the company, and recommend software packages and protocols to improve efficiency. Assist in the deployment and ongoing support of the Enterprise Labor Management system. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Study, quantify and document proposed and established labor best practices
- Utilize method-time measurements to build, perform and document time studies within the Enhanced Acoustic Simulator for Engineers (EASE) software suite

- Lead labor time studies, including project management, labor costing, process improvement and project communication with all business owners
- Maintain a working knowledge of MTM-UAS and EASE industrial engineering software platforms
- Develop and implement direct labor standards for costing, staffing and evaluating performance
- Establish work measurement programs and collect/analyze data; develop/maintain key performance indicators and metrics
- Evaluate vendor and supplier proposals for new equipment purchases to ensure increased efficiency; evaluate the equipment's contribution to cost saving measures
- Conduct final reviews and produce documentation of all corporate labor standards that are presented by the Corporate Labor Review committee prior to production release into the Enterprise Labor Management System (ELMS)
- Develop new tasks, enter all new standards into ELMS and confirm the integrity of the standards
- Determine process changes that will help streamline work methods
- Develop scope and charter definitions for projects
- Travel to retail locations and offices to support process improvement initiatives and improve efficiencies by reducing waste of time, money, materials, energy and other resources

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
- Bachelor's Degree industrial engineering or a closely related field
- 2+ years experience working on progressive industrial engineer projects in a complex, integrated retail network
- Strong analytical and statistical skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to set priorities and multitask
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
Desired
- Experience with MTM1 and MTM2 practices
- Retail experience
- Experience conducting time studies and setting labor standards
