The Senior OnBase Solutions Engineer will be the technical lead overseeing and expanding the company's OnBase platform.
Responsibilities
Position Objective
Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for a Senior OnBase Solutions Engineer reporting directly to the Headquarters office, working as the OnBase API-certified expert. The engineer will be the key technical member of the small team supporting the in-house OnBase installation.
The Engineer is responsible for overseeing and supporting the on premise OnBase platform that runs all of Konica Minolta Business Solution's OnBase applications, and designing, building and supporting the APIs, custom scripts, OnBase web services, and other services. This position will take ownership of the on premise environment and installation, lead the design and build of all OnBase integrations, assist with the ongoing development and deployment of new in-house OnBase applications, and assist with ongoing support of existing in-house OnBase applications.
Key responsibilities are to plan and execute OnBase upgrades, monitor and make adjustments for optimal server and application performance, oversee IIS, collaborate with other line of business developers regarding integrations, build custom scripts to extend OnBase Out-of-box functionality, support OnBase web services, design and build OnBase APIs, and trouble-shoot and resolve existing application or installation issues. The Engineer will also assist with new application design and build, and participate in other project activities as needed.
The Solutions Engineer must be able to multi-task and manage multiple responsibilities with minimal oversight, feel comfortable working on a small team, have strong listening and communication skills, be adept at learning new skills, and feel comfortable reporting in daily standups.
Key responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, architect, build, document and support the on premise OnBase infrastructure, including connectivity, LDAP/AD/SAML security and associated pass-throughs, firewalls, Gmail, and OnBase configuration files (WAMCON)
- Install and configure OnBase components
- Plan and execute OnBase upgrades
- Oversee and troubleshoot OnBase servers and IIS
- Act as principal designer and developer of OnBase integrations
- Build custom OnBase API scripts as needed for applications utilizing C#
- Build integrations with .NET REST API (development and consumption) and .NET web development running on IIS, aspx/asmx
- Test and QA OnBase applications
- Documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve OnBase infrastructure and application issues
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and Data Center teams for VM, servers, security, connectivity
- Assist with new application design and build.

Reporting:
- Communicate with manager regarding task progress and issues on a daily basis and submit written activity reports weekly
Qualifications
- Four-year college degree and/or equivalent work experience.
- 6 years or greater experience implementing OnBase solutions from a highly technical perspective
- 8 years or greater industry experience
- Excellent programming skills - C# and .NET mandatory; HTML, VBScript preferred
- Advanced SQL skills
- OnBase API certification - Mandatory
- OnBase Administration, Workflow, WorkView certifications - Preferred
- Microsoft MCP Certification and MCSE - Preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong technical implementation and troubleshooting skills
- Strong testing, quality assurance skills
- Self-motivated, focused, drive to succeed
- Ability to create process documentation - Visio experience preferred
- Ability to work remotely during typical daytime hours with occasional evening, weekend work for upgrades and production migrations
