Director, Stores Human Resource Business Partners - South Region (Remote)

Kohl's is currently hiring a Director of Human Resources for Stores! As Director of HR, you will collaborate with territory leadership to develop and execute people strategies and talent practices for Kohl's stores, and lead a dynamic team dedicated to crafting and executing culture and people strategies. This includes providing coaching and guidance, driving workforce planning, developing talent, optimizing organizational effectiveness, and ensuring operational delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to territory leadership to drive productive people solutions
  • Determine HR strategy at the territory level by understanding business goals, advising on change initiatives, assessing HR implications, and providing guidance to leaders

  • Oversee consistent execution of HR practices, systems and analyzing reports
  • Lead talent management through implementing plans, monitoring workforce planning, acquiring, and retaining key talent, analyzing data, driving performance management, and ensuring compliance with compensation programs
  • Develop strategies to attract and maintain a skilled workforce through diagnosing gaps, recruiting, and developing talent, supporting workforce development and succession planning, and leveraging capabilities
  • Support the business in achieving its strategic goals and business objectives, with a focus on fostering Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

  • Who You Are

    You have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, PHR or SPHR certification, and 10+ years of experience in associate relations or Human Resources within a retail environment (or related industry).

    The travel requirement for this role is up to 20%, based on business needs.
