KinderCare is undergoing rapid expansion. As part of our Growth Finance team, the Senior Real Estate Financial Analyst plays a critical role in evaluating strategic growth and real estate development.

As a Senior Real Estate Financial Analyst, you'll have a key role in strategically supporting our new center growth, finding opportunities where communities are in need and strong financial performance co-exist. This entails conducting financial analysis to support investment decisions on new center development to support more children, families, and teachers with safe and quality early childhood education.

Responsibilities

  • Own proforma modeling and investment analysis for new centers, Ad hoc projects, reporting, and modeling.
  • Work through ambiguity with confidence and curiosity to analyze market variables and existing portfolio financials to develop inputs for pro forma models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment to support smarter, faster decision-making.
  • Present your analysis, including risks and opportunities, in a concise and easy-to-understand format to senior leaders.
  • Support the broader growth strategy by developing and analyzing new business models.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or related field or MBA
  • 2-5 years of experience in finance or real estate investment analysis
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and sophisticated modeling
  • Understanding of analysis, cash-flow modeling concepts, and investment metrics
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple projects and prioritize deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with high attention to quality and accuracy, strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communicator with the ability to challenge senior perspectives constructively
