The Lead Recruiting Coordinator, hires, trains and supervises the seasonal Recruitment Coordinator team that supports our field-based hiring managers and recruiting teams with front and back end recruiting support during our annual peak hiring period. This leader will play a critical role in enabling our thriving organization to quickly attract, hire, and onboard talent throughout the year and during peak seasons.

Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, and manage a team of 3-4 contingent/contract Recruiting Coordinators annually to support seasonal high-volume hiring (March-October); develop talent pipelines and champion a high-performance, collaborative environment.
  • Provide recruitment coordination for a designated client group, including requisition posting, background check processing, and hands-on support for hiring managers on onboarding and ATS issues.
  • Partner with Recruiting Operations leadership to assess and streamline coordination workflows, enhancing process efficiency and consistency while improving the candidate experience.
  • Act as a key contact for recruiters and hiring managers, offering support on hiring needs, candidate experience issues, and ATS troubleshooting.
  • Oversee ATS and recruitment tool usage, ensuring systems are optimized and users are properly trained for efficiency and compliance.
  • Champion a positive candidate experience by consistently representing the company brand with professionalism throughout the recruitment process.
  • Proactively address hiring process challenges, collaborating with customers to resolve issues and implement effective solutions

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in recruitment coordination or as a hiring manager using Workday to hire hourly employees
  • Committed to delivering excellent candidate and hiring manager experiences
  • Proficient in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools; familiarity with Workday and HRIS systems is a plus
  • Experienced in training, onboarding, and mentoring team members
  • Proficient in engaging with candidates, hiring managers, and senior leaders through clear communication
  • Highly organized with solid attention to detail; capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive and effective at resolving issues in scheduling, logistics, and candidate experience
  • Strong analytical skills; able to interpret performance data and metrics to drive continuous process improvement
