About You

As a person, you're a learner, a natural leader - someone who is always reliable, taking initiative to solve problems, and teaming up with others to make things better for all. As a manufacturing professional, you have strong mechanical aptitude and deliver high value to your team by operating equipment at expected performance levels, and acting as a team player to exceed safety, productivity and quality goals.   • Are 18 years or older and authorized to work in Canada
  • Have a high school diploma, GED Grade 12 certificate
  • 1+ years of continuous work experience.
  • Have basic computer knowledge, mechanical aptitude and good math skills
  • Are able to maintain a work schedule of 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime
  • Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment background screening
  • Can pass post-offer / pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT)

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • Industrial environment (noise, dust, moving equipment, etc.) May include prolong periods of standing, along with occasional bending, reaching, lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs, climbing, twisting, stooping etc. Schedule (hours, work week length, overtime responsibilities, Flexibility, etc.)

  • FLEXIBILITY:

    • 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
    • Work 12-hour shift schedule - 3-day rotation, including weekends and holidays to maintain 24/7 plant coverage for the tissue machine. 3 Days on, 3 Days off, 3 Nights on, 3 nights off
