Senior Director, Federal Sales

Role Overview: 

As the Senior Director for Federal Sales, you will be responsible for increasing revenue through the development and execution of a strategic sales plan. 

This position will be responsible for developing deep relationships with the key individuals at the targeted Federal customers from the C-suite down and then be capable of leveraging that trust to influence strategic decisions to help Jumio grow its business with a high return on investment. With the goal of deep partnership in mind, you will create win-win scenarios that delight the customer while establishing long term, multigenerational customer engagements.

This role will be responsible for driving the full sales process including managing the business operations, forecasting, product positioning strategies, team and communications.  You will be required to partner with the rest of the sales team, marketing, engineering, supply chain, legal, HR, and the executive leadership team to achieve successful business results.

Example Responsibilities:

  • Identify, target, engage, and win the Federal Market 
  • Ensure customer delight by owning the day-to-day engagement with all assigned customers
  • Develop innovative selling strategies to effectively position Jumio’s unique and differentiated technical and business capabilities to close business opportunities
  • Lead selling effort both internally and externally from start to finish
  • Track and analyze metrics including pipeline growth, revenue projections, and quota attainment and report progress to goals and present to team members
  • World wide communication, coordination and travel required

Experience and Qualifications 

  • Minimum of 5 years selling into the Federal market
  • 15 years of experience in world wide sales leadership with a proven track record
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
  • Some startup experience desired
  • Technical or business-related field preferred
  • Naturally possess a joy for working within the Federal market
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Committed and inclined to be hands-on and willing to do what it takes to win
  • A great communicator through all modern mediums
  • An empathetic seller
  • A polished presenter capable of comfortably addressing C-suite executives complex business and technical topics
  • Ability to scout, find, and develop new customers based on product capabilities
  • Ability to articulate and advocate customer challenges to team members
  • Skilled at all key business administration attributes
  • Well-developed capabilities in problem-solving and crafting efficient processes
  • A result and success oriented mentality, conveying a sense of urgency and driving issues to closure
  • An ability to initiate and build internal and external relationships with people in an open, friendly, and collaborative manner
  • Comfortable with adapting and adjusting to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.

Compensation

  • The hiring range for this position is from $158,000 and $222,000. This is based on Jumio’s US national salary band for the role. Geographical adjustment is applied for tier 1 locations and more may be available based on your skills and experience. 
  • This position also qualifies for uncapped sales commission.
