The Cross Product Change Services (CPCS) Team, part of the CIB-Securities Services Operations Transformation group, provides a range of change services to both internal and external clients. These services include user acceptance testing , business analysis, minimum viable product assessment, defining and implementing reference data strategies, process evaluation and re-engineering, automation, implementation support, and test strategy and execution. With a team of over 130 employees, CPCS operates across 10 global locations.

Job Description

J.P. Morgan is seeking an Associate to provide Senior Business Testing Analysis for the Securities Services LOB; in a cross business, cross functional project based environment. Flexibility to provide Testing experience on other LOB's and support transformational Global initiatives within Cross Product Change Services. The successful candidate would also be expected to support the strategic roll out of an automated testing solution.

Job Responsibilities

  • Documentation and execution of test scenarios - identify specific scenarios and write test scripts using Business Driven Development.
  • Evidence and Documentation of Testing results in to JIRA Tool.
  • Utilisation of test automation tools, to enable the efficient and timely E2E test execution, therefore previous experience of automated testing is required.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Product and Technology groups.
  • Identifying opportunities to accelerate and synergise testing processes for assigned projects and syndicate the information to other team members to validate prior to implementation.
  • Taking responsibility for the monitoring and reporting of Testing defects and the re-testing process.
  • Validation and presentation of Test Results for internal Sign-off.
  • Engage in Internal and Cross-Team Initiatives: Actively participate and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and ensuring high-quality delivery across teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in Functional and Regression testing, particularly within the Financial Services industry, with a preference for Global Custody business.
  • Proficient in both Functional and Regression testing, including defining requirements, documenting user stories, and executing test scripts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to scope and address complex issues efficiently.
  • Expertise in Agile project delivery methodology and adaptability to evolving methodologies.
  • Proficient in using test automation tools for efficient end-to-end test execution.
  • Skilled in developing and analyzing data-driven reports to support program reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills for providing clear updates to team members, colleagues, senior leads, executives, and clients.
  • Experience in conducting and contributing to program updates, project, and team meetings, with the ability to deputize for the Test Manager when necessary.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, lead teams, and meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills across various business lines and global locations.
  • Effective change management skills with the ability to adapt to dynamic environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Preferred experience with data visualization and user tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, QlikView, and Xceptor.

Prefferred skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (with relevant experience)
  • Project / Agile methodology Qualification - Preferred.
