Technology Support II - User Acceptance Testing

As a Technology Support II team member you will be responsible to read & understand business requirements, co-ordinate with partner site for test planning, active participation in UAT calls, test case writing and execution, test cases review and providing feedback. Along with manual expertise, you will need to have good understanding and experience in automation testing as well. You need to have background on Banking domain and Liquidity knowledge would be an added advantage.

Job responsibilities

  • Write and manage test plan and test script documentation required to support testing activity.
  • Work with operations, product and technology groups to define, document and agree the test approach and strategy.
  • Review of test plan & test scripts written by team and provide necessary feedback.
  • Document and report all errors/faults and ensure resolution including re-testing as required.
  • Provide regular status reporting to stakeholders.
  • Work with automation testers to build regression automation and manage changes to existing automation pack.
  • Analyse the impact of changes on the testing schedule.
  • Upon completion of testing, support integration of enhancements to include training and updating standard operating procedures as necessary.
  • Build strong working relationships with technology, product and operations to succeed in delivery.
  • Manage people working within the team / department and strive to improve performance standards, to achieve and exceed business expectations.
  • Manage resources and capacity across multiple projects simultaneously and ensure optimum utilization of resources with NIL impact to business operations

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in UAT/QA.
  • Must have Banking domain experience. (Nice to have : Liquidity domain knowledge)
  • Experience in at least one of the test automation tools. (e.g. Java, UI Path, Selenium, Smartspec, VB Script, Python etc)
  • Strong analytical skills and influencing ability.
  • Strong oral & written communication, presentation & facilitation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving environment and be self motivating
  • Proven ability to form strong relationships and partnerships with stakeholders
  • Ability to build strong partnerships across the stakeholder groups at partner location and within Mumbai through a proactive, open and communicative approach.
  • Highly effective time management skills - Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently in an efficient and effective manner with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Good problem solving & execution skills.
  • Excellent prioritization, planning and time management skills
  • Works well individually as well as with the team, shares information, supports colleagues and staff.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • ISTQB Certification.
  • Working knowledge of tools like ALM/Quality Center, JIRA or defect management and test support tools / QTP will be an added advantage.
  • Experience of test co-ordination in a user acceptance test environment
  • Any of the skills of the future like Tableau, Alteryx, UI Path etc.
  • Leadership and People Management.
