As a Sr Director of Software Engineering - Transformation Lead at JPMorgan Chase within Corporate Technology, CDAO Data Platforms Engineering, you will be responsible for guiding the transformation roadmap and shaping the delivery and operating model structure across the organization. Job responsibilities
- Manage the transformation roadmap across the organization, ensuring alignment with our strategic priorities
- Responsible for the structure of roadmap delivery and operating model across the organization
- Oversee engineering risks, issues, dependencies across the full book of work
- Engage with senior stakeholders across the whole organization including customers within the lines of businesses
- Guide the selection and implementation of appropriate technologies, platforms and software tools leveraging advanced technical fluency
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying process optimization opportunities, incorporating best practices, and staying abreast of emerging technologies
- Partner with the product organization to drive business outcomes, ensuring that technical programs are aligned with strategic business goals
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations to senior leadership, including the Operating Committee, to communicate program status, risks, and achievements
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and expert applied experience. In addition, expert experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise
- Senior director level experience, leading enterprise-wide transformation
- Experience working at code level and understanding architecture and infrastructure
- Ability to manage multiple portfolios and competing priorities
- Demonstrated proficiency in technical solutions, vendor product knowledge, managing vendor relations, and implementing solutions
- Advanced analytical reasoning skills, applying critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, and operational objectives
- Proven ability in leading through change, managing dependencies, and controlling change in high-pressure, shifting environments
- Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, establishing productive relationships, and driving beneficial outcomes aligned with firm objectives
- Experience shaping strategic business transformation and delivering integrated plans
