Software Engineer [Multiple Positions Available]
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Construct comprehensive test plans outlining scope, objectives, resources, schedule, and activities. Perform manual functional and API testing. Configure and maintain test environments and network configurations. Develop automation framework across different environments. Ensure timely integration and regression testing during component or system turnover. Use WCAG 2.0 industry standards to test ADA. Utilize JSON and XML formatted data files and service payloads to create mock services to reduce data dependence testing using server mock and shell apps. Use Splunk knowledge to create, manage and retrieve test data for different profile segments and analyze machine generated data to identify the failures. Develop and maintain dynamic and interactive dashboards using Jira and Kibana for sharing test execution report to all involved parties. Participate in Leads meeting to provide QA oversight and status updates to all stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met and QA activities are handled in accordance with project standards. Monitor risk-management procedures, maintain problem logs, and report issues to managers and product developers. Manage builds using CICD pipeline tools like Jenkins and BitBucket which includes configuring, triggering, and scheduling on multiple pipelines using different environments. Implement component level testing for SAGE. Organize test data to distribute across different environments and flags.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Associate Architect-Technology, Automation Developer, Programmer Analyst, Associate Software Engineer, Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Associate Architect-Technology, Automation Developer, Programmer Analyst, Associate Software Engineer, Engineer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Using Linux and Unix commands for process management and navigation to system directories; developing test plans to manage and execute on different environments, including lower and production environments, and mobile and web platforms; applying Agile and Waterfall Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, including sprint planning, epic requirements, providing status update on stories, executing the project plan, and ensuring the completion of all project tasks; designing and executing performance test plans specific to SOAP and REST API web services; building and delivering continuous integration systems using Jenkins and Bitbucket; solving engineering and product problems with engineering collaborators in GitHub Issues and PRs; developing Automation Testing Frameworks using Selenium, Java, Cucumber and Maven for mobile and web applications; coding, testing and implementing the front-end solution using web technologies including HTTP, XML, and HTML; developing automation test scripts using Swift and Xcode; mapping JSON payloads to develop mock services to avoid data dependencies; managing user accounts, executing and monitoring data scanning activities, and resolving issues that may arise with log sources using Splunk; developing unit testing using test management tools such as Junit; performing Blackbox Functional, Manual, Performance, Database, Regression, Smoke, System Integration, User Acceptance and White Box Testing; performing ADA testing using WCAG industry standards.
