DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or in a related field of study plus 7 years (84 months) of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, AEM Consultant, or in a related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or in a related field of study plus 5 years (60 months) of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, AEM Consultant, or in a related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Application architecture disciplines, infrastructure architecture disciplines; Working with web content management systems; Designing, developing and configuring Adobe Experience Manager(AEM) based solutions; Working knowledge and understanding of the following frameworks: JCR, Apache Sling, Apache Felix, OSGi, REST, Java Script, and JSON; Creating and customizing AEM components, dialogs, widgets, templates, content fragments, experience fragments and workflows to meet project requirements; Designing and creating solutions in Java, J2EE development, IDEs like Eclipse, IntelliJ and version control systems like GIT; Working in Agile environments, particularly with Scrum methodologies; Implementing caching and security strategies with Dispatcher, CDN technologies like Akamai to optimize web performance and ensure fast, reliable content delivery; Utilize various code management, code quality and continuous integration tools like JIRA, Confluence, Maven, and Jenkins; End-to-end implementations of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM); Software development experience on Java/J2EE platform as it relates to AEM; Experience in testing at all levels: unit, integration, functional and performance; Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, AJAX and JavaScript frameworks and their integration with AEM; and Demonstrated expertise and in-depth knowledge of AEM Digital Asset Management (DAM) capabilities, including asset ingestion, metadata management, workflow automation and asset delivery.
