Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and energetic software engineer to join our team in Intel's Programmable Solutions Group (PSG). Intel PSG is the pioneer of programmable logic solutions, enabling system and semiconductor companies to rapidly and cost effectively innovate, differentiate and win in their markets. Intel PSG combines the programmable logic technology with software tools, intellectual property, and customer support to provide high-value programmable solutions to many customers worldwide.
In this role, you will be developing the software for Quartus tool that programs the current/next generation of FPGA devices.
- Quartus is used by all FPGA acceleration technologies (including OpenCL, HLS, Acceleration Libraries, etc).

As part of the Place and Route team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Developing software support for successful placement and routing of the latest next generation FPGA devices.
- Enhancing tools and infrastructure to allow the algorithms to be used outside the traditional PnR engine.
- Implementing new features in addition to root-causing and fixing the existing ones, while maneuvering your way through a big code base.
- Independently investigate and research new algorithms and techniques for future architectures.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a positive factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed may be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
Minimum Requirements:
The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in the following areas:
- C with a focus on data structures, algorithms, and/or code optimization.
- Compiler optimization techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in the following areas:
- C with a focus on data structures, algorithms, and/or code optimization.
- Compiler optimization techniques.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$52,000.00-$200,000.00
