DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design and develop solutions using modern stack including but not limited to APIs, microservices framework, messaging, cloud deployments with acute performance engineering and highly reliable applications. Lead 2- 4 scrum teams to execute feature requirements to advance and create new capabilities for products with scalability and automation. Perform software development with effective application modernization and modularization with reusable components. Mentor and coach junior developers in the team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Project Leader, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: delivering High Level architecture and low level designs to meet the business needs and non-functional requirements; designing scalable, resilient, secured and performant design solutions for business critical applications that work on multi cloud and on prem locations; utilizing API and Event driven and micro services frameworks to achieve autonomous and flexible integrations; API modularization using OpenAPI standards and millisecond response time for high volume low latency needs; Operational Monitoring and App performance technologies including CloudWatch, Prometheus, Kibana, Grafana, Logstash, CloudTrail, and Splunk; completing automation via CI/CD pipelines including GIT and Bitbucket, Jenkins, Junit, Maven, Blue/Green deployment, auto failover, and auto scalability; performing automated functional and performance testing with Cucumber, Blazemeter, and JMeter; performance tuning with Query, compute & memory optimization - JProfiler, Cache - Redis/ElastiCache; influencing cross product designs; Design Authority, Code Review, Peer review, and Coding best practices; and communicating with executive leadership. This position requires hands-on coding and development with: Java, J2EE, NodeJS, React, Angular JS, and SQL; JPA, Hibernate, Spring Cloud technologies such as Spring Boot, Config server, Eureka Discovery Service, Ribbon Load Balancer, or Spring Boot Actuator; and Oracle, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Elastic/OpenSearch. This position requires experience with the following: Kafka; AWS - SNS/SQS; Containers including ECS, EKS, Cloud Foundry, and Docker; Serverless components including Lambda and Fargate; AWS RDS; S3; Hadoop and Hive; MSK; SAML; OAuth; and SSL.
