DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field of study plus 6 years (72 months) of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, System Engineer, or in related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Designing and building web Applications on AWS which includes working with various services including ECS, EKS, ALB to implement, drive and support a strategy to build broad use of AWS services like ECS and EKS; Designing Resilient secure and high performing platforms in public cloud using industry best practices; Driving, supporting, and delivering on a strategy to build broad use of Amazon's utility computing web services such as AWS EC2, AWS S3, AWS RDS, AWS EFS, CloudWatch, AWS EKS, AWS ECS, and AWS ECR; Improving reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions moving to public cloud; Measuring and optimizing system performance, pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improve, using tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, and Splunk; Providing expert level operational support and engineering for the public cloud platform, debugging and optimizing systems, and automating routine tasks; Driving Cost management through the effective design and optimization of public cloud platforms and technologies including tools required to analyze and process Public Cloud expenses; Utilizing programming languages such as Python, JAVA, and shell scripting to solve enterprise level challenges; Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, ECR, Artifactory, Jenkins, Spinnaker and SonarQube; Using monitoring solutions including CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, Grafana to analyze application and container performances; Writing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), using tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform for various AWS services including EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, ELB, ECR, Lambda, RDS, and Dynamo; Using DevOps tools in a cloud environment, such as Ansible, Artifactory, Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, and Kubernetes; Building dashboards in Grafana and Datadog to monitor the Infra platforms performance and analyze and provide the recommend patterns for the scalable architecture design; and Analyzing petabytes of data in Splunk and Dynatrace to identify and troubleshoot issues and improve application performance.
