Firmwide Risk Reporting and Middle Office (RRMO) provides essential reporting to manage risk through changing market conditions and regulatory requirements, focusing on Market, Credit, Country, and Principal Risk.
As an Associate within the RRMO Governance team, you will support a variety of key activities that support our global organization. This includes governance and reporting for Reports, Intelligent Solutions (IS), and User Tools (UT), as well as action plan remediation and communications. You will have the opportunity to engage with colleagues across the organization, work independently, and take ownership of processes to drive improvements.

Job Responsibilities
- Support Report, Intelligent Solutions (ISs) and User Tools (UTs) BAU governance process
- Review and approve changes to reports, ISs and UTs metadata
- Prepare for and lead RRMO report governance calls (e.g. review new reports and decommissions requests, prepare agenda, distribute minutes after the call)
- Perform governance control validations for RRMO on a monthly and quarterly basis to ensure compliance with RRMO and firmwide policies
- Assist in control action plan remediation and recertification processes for Reports, ISs, and UTs across the department
- Support the development of management reporting and presentations for senior management
- Drive change through the improvement of existing processes and applications to enhance efficiency
- Lead the execution of special governance projects from end to end, assembling working groups to achieve successful outcomes
- Perform UAT testing (User Acceptance Testing)
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and research as needed
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and inquisitive, with the ability to influence and progress initiatives collaboratively
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, business management, governance, control management, or data analysis
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, prioritize multiple work streams and complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with comfort navigating projects where the path forward is not always clear
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, including formulas, pivots, graphs, and formatting
- Confidence in working with and analyzing large data sets
- Strong team player who thrives in a matrix environment and builds partnerships with colleagues across various levels and locations
- Ability to multi-task in a constantly changing environment, demonstrating a positive, can-do attitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize information and report to senior management clearly and confidently
- Curiosity and drive to improve processes and challenge the status quo
- BA/BS degree required
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Knowledge of Intelligent Solution technologies (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau) is beneficial
