Job Summary

As a Reference Data Specialist within the Asset Pricing Services team, you play a crucial role in capturing and validating bond prices from multiple market sources. You analyze price movements against market news and expectations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to support decision-making across the firm. Your expertise in fixed income products and financial markets enables you to resolve client queries and contribute to the ongoing development of pricing control processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Capture and validate daily bond prices from third-party sources.
  • Analyze price movements in relation to market news and expectations.
  • Liaise with pricing vendors to resolve issues and minimize risk.
  • Monitor systems for job success and collaborate with technology teams to resolve issues.
  • Prepare and send daily pricing and market impact summaries with supporting market news.
  • Generate and maintain month-end index rebalance and composition reports.
  • Produce and analyze valuation movements within client portfolios daily and monthly.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities

  • 4+ years of experience in fixed income-related roles.
  • Demonstrate understanding and interest in stocks, bonds, options, and financial markets/products.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities

  • Previous experience in managing teams.
  • Knowledge of industry activities, particularly corporate actions and index benchmarking.
  • Pricing vendor knowledge, such as Bloomberg and Reuters.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
