Samlink Lead Data Warehouse Specialist

As a member of Samlink's DW team you will be responsible for developing these high-tech solutions together with other team members and stake holders in Samlink.

As a Lead DW Specialist, you'll be at the front of designing and developing advanced data warehousing solutions that drive real business impact.

You'll lead development, introduce fresh ideas, and ensure high-quality deliverables across the team. Your role includes mentoring team members, refining processes, and actively investing in your own professional growth.

You'll design and implement ETL solutions using the Data Vault 2.0 methodology, with Informatica as your primary tool.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a strong ability to navigate both business and technical perspectives, collaborating closely with other experts across Samlink to deliver tailored, high-performance solutions.

Please note that our offices are located in Espoo and Jyväskylä, and the candidate would need to be based in these areas.

Required skills and expertise:

• Ability to take a leading role in the team and work accordingly, supporting other team members and demonstrating best practices.

• Strong experience in Data Warehousing using the Data Vault 2.0 methodology, including both modeling and implementing ETL solutions (e.g., Informatica).

• SQL skills and technical proficiency in data warehousing.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

• Vision and ability to design efficient Data Warehousing solutions for the future.

• Attention to detail, ability to handle pressure, and strong collaboration skills with various stakeholders, both internally and with customers.

• Proficiency in Finnish and good communication skills in English.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

• Experience in the financial sector is a plus, as it will help you adapt to the role more quickly.
