Reference Data Product Solution - Product Owner, Associate
Join our Reference Data Product Solutions team as a Product Owner, driving 3rd party/Internal data platform & product management.
As a Product Owner within the Reference Data Product Solutions team, you will collaborate with internal JPM teams and 3rd party data providers to triage consumer data issues and arrive at resolutions. You will assess vendor notifications to prioritize based on impact and decommission dates, and work with functional account owners to identify cost optimization opportunities. Your role will involve drafting current and future state process maps, managing stakeholders, and preparing and running meetings across various management levels.
You will be responsible for requirement gathering, JIRA stories writing and prioritization, user acceptance testing, and running backlog refinement and sprint plan sessions. Your ability to run working group meetings, product solution design sessions, and prepare process flow diagrams and reports will be crucial. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure is essential, along with a quick learning ability and independence in work.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal JPM teams and 3rd party data providers to triage consumer data issues and arrive at resolutions.
- Analyze vendor notifications to assess impact on consumers and prioritize based on impact/decommission dates.
- Collaborate with functional account owners to identify cost optimization opportunities and define implementation plans.
- Draft current and future state process maps with strong business analysis skills.
- Manage stakeholders effectively, preparing and running meetings across various levels of management.
- Gather requirements, write JIRA stories, prioritize tasks, conduct user acceptance testing, and run backlog refinement and sprint plan sessions.
- Run working group meetings, product solution design sessions, and prepare process flow diagrams and reports.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure.
- Understand financial reference data such as instrument data, market data, pricing data, entity data, valuation data, and Bloomberg data license & platforms awareness.
- Basic experience with project management, preparing roadmaps, and project plan documentation.
- Strategic thinking and comfort with tech/architecture collaborations.
- Technical expertise in tools like Excel pivots & reports, Power BI/Tableau Dashboards, Alteryx, Python, Postman/Swagger API testing.
