As a Wholesale Lending Services Associate within the Wholesale Lending Services team, you will promote enhancements, resolve high-impact escalations, and facilitate new hire and cross-training initiatives. You will translate business needs into scalable solutions by partnering with product owners, operations teams, and system developers. This role is ideal for candidates with strong analytical skills, a background in wholesale lending operations, and a passion for continuous improvement and people development.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive and support system and process enhancement initiatives from ideation to execution.
- Translate business requirements into viable solutions, bridging the gap between users and technical teams.
- Use data analytics to identify opportunities and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align designs with business strategies.
- Lead change management efforts for enhancements and new implementations.
- Ensure compliance, risk, and audit requirements are met in all work.
- Act as a key escalation point for complex or time-sensitive issues, ensuring urgent resolution.
- Apply critical thinking to address escalated concerns and conduct root cause analysis.
- Communicate resolution updates clearly and professionally to stakeholders.
- Facilitate training sessions for new hires and cross-trained teams, providing coaching and feedback.
- Track training outcomes and align programs with business needs and operational requirements.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
- Over 5 years of experience in business operations, within Wholesale Lending or Loan Servicing.
- Ability to manage small to mid-scale initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Strong team player with the ability to work effectively across business, tech, and operational teams.
- Proven track record of effective team leadership and people development.
- Skilled in identifying root causes, analyzing data, and proposing structured solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Ability to tailor training approach based on feedback and process changes.
- Experience in process optimization and implementing best practices.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
- Experience in business operations within wholesale lending or loan servicing.
- Experience working in diverse environments and managing a diverse team.
- Proven experience in managing process improvement initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience handling escalations.
- Background in conducting training and team development programs.
- Data fluency and analytical mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; experience with ACBS, VLS, Loan IQ preferred and familiarity with federal and state regulations affecting loan servicing.
