As a Lead Technical Program Manager within the Technology Team, you will promote the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reach business goals across the firm. Leveraging your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential for developing innovative solutions, while simultaneously effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will enable you to navigate through ambiguity and change, ensuring that technology initiatives align with business goals. With advanced communication and stakeholder management abilities, you will foster productive working relationships and influence decision-making to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

Job responsibilities

  • Provide Guidance, Education, Governance and Enforce Firmwide & CT specific Standards for Applications and Products / Components
  • Work with SEAL Support and Development to improve the SEAL Application and drive CT interests in the product
  • Review and approve SEAL Workflows, ensuring data quality and adherence to standards. Ensure any updates that required additional governance are approved before SEAL is updated
  • Administer CT's Permit to Initiate (PTI) process for new application requests. Automate and streamline the process where possible and ensure CT requirements are met
  • Drive Data Quality Improvement Efforts (Internal, Firmwide, SEAL Data Integrity Breaks)
  • Oversee governance of Vendor Developed Externally Hosted applications including Permit to Operate Lite and Permit to Transfer Lite

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
  • Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and clients
  • Advanced experience in utilizing technical fluency, including knowledge of vendor products and managing vendor relations, to enable on-demand access to shared pools of applications and services
  • Proven track record of effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Knowledge of system development life cycle concepts with an ability to quickly learn a complex, distributed computing environment.
  • Understanding of Waterfall and Agile methods; stakeholder management; budget management, risk management and operations
  • Ability to create and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at various levels (MD, ED, VP, etc.) throughout the firm
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently in an efficient and effective manner with minimal supervision.
  • Team player who works well individually and in teams, shares information and collaborates with colleagues and open to taking on key architectural needs of the team as needed.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, strong interest in learning, effective under pressure and willing to take personal responsibility / accountability
