Job Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic advice on IPO strategy, valuation, and market positioning.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.
  • Conducting thorough due diligence on the company seeking to go public, including financial analysis, business model evaluation, and risk assessment.
  • Reviewing necessary documentation for the IPO, such as the prospectus, financial statements, and regulatory filings.
  • Ensuring compliance with Hong Kong Listing Rules, Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO), and other relevant regulations.
  • Liaising with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Managing the execution of the IPO, including coordinating with various stakeholders such as legal advisors, auditors, and underwriters.
  • Assisting in the valuation of the company and determining the appropriate pricing for the IPO shares.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including ECM, corporate finance, legal, and compliance teams, to ensure seamless execution
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members, such as Analysts and Associates, in executing IPO-related tasks.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics or other related fields.
  • Minimum 6 year of work experience in an investment banking front office, or related role.
  • Close attention to detail and ability to deliver output of a very high standard
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and written skills in English and Chinese
  • Ability to deliver quality under pressure
  • Strong emphasis on good partnership, and a control-conscious team-working environment
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and initiation, with a strong desire to learn the business and go the extra mile
  • Strong analytical bend of mind and expert handling of MS Office suite products

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Awareness of investment banking solutions, regulatory backdrop, and services is a plus
