As an Experience Design, Sr. Associate in our Global Finance Technology team, you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing, structuring, and detailing our offerings within the context of a broader user journey. Collaborate with senior UX leads to execute tasks and projects that align with established policies and procedures. Your work will have a direct impact on mid-sized features or small collections of features, ensuring a seamless and inclusive user experience. Contribute to the team's decision-making process and help drive customer-centric innovation strategies. Demonstrate your proficiency in core experience design craft skills, while continuously developing your expertise in these and other design-focused areas.

Job Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and development of user experiences for features and redesigns, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals.
  • Apply interaction design principles to create seamless and engaging user flows across web, mobile, and branch platforms.
  • Participate in iterative design processes, incorporating user feedback to improve the overall user experience.
  • Support the implementation of inclusive design practices, considering diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Gather information on market trends, user research studies, and user behavior analyses to inform design decisions.
  • Create wireframes, UI designs, and interactive prototypes using our design system.
  • Collaborate with UX Researchers for journey maps, personas, and usability testing.
  • Partner with product and development teams to launch solutions that balance business, user, and technical priorities.
  • Distinguish between feature requests and design improvements from user goals and objectives.
  • Present your designs with expertise and rationale while advocating for end users.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in experience design or a related UX discipline within the digital product space.
  • Experience in visual design and interaction principles, focusing on creating aesthetically appealing and functional digital experiences.
  • Proficiency in storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping to effectively communicate and refine design concepts.
  • Familiarity with accessibility guidelines, inclusive design practices, and assistive technologies.
  • Exposure to industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite).

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience with Figma is a plus.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or React is a plus.
  • Experience with data visualization is a plus.
