DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Responsible for delivering algorithmic trading, liquidity, and analytics products to JP Morgan clients. Work closely with various business partners across the Global Equities Sales and Trading organization to deliver innovative end-to-end solutions for JPM clients and build strong cross-functional relationships. Work directly with clients to understand electronic trading needs and describe JPM electronic trading offerings, including algorithms, smart order routing, DMA access, and dark pools. Partner with the Technology and Quant Research teams to prioritize projects specifically related to algorithmic trading features, including volume profiles, limit order trading models, auction mechanisms and imbalance feeds, market microstructure optimization, exploration of model usage and analyses, and deliver new products (such as new algorithms). Detail requirements for new products and enhancements by writing specifications and guiding the process of building them out through discussion with technology teams. Analyze the efficiency and performance of JPM trading products, including producing in-depth analysis of product usage, client trends, and trading performance of the algorithmic strategies. Educate clients and sales force about JPM products, focusing mostly on trading algorithms and TCA. Deliver marketing material and product content to clients. Track and report business performance, including individual client algorithmic performance and revenue numbers. Leverage analytical skills to analyze large data sets and provide actionable results to drive product evolution and client product usage. Identify areas for improving efficiency and performance with electronic trading systems. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel to various client sites.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as E-Markets Lead/Director, Quantitative Strategist, Marketing Researcher, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as E-Markets Lead/Director, Quantitative Strategist, Marketing Researcher, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills: Electronic trading toolsets and products including algorithms, Smart Order Routing (SOR), Exchanges, and ATS venues; Algorithmic trading strategies and order placement strategies including order placement logic and order scheduling; US and Canadian equity market structure; US and Canadian market microstructure; and US and Canadian equities trading. This position requires four (4) years of experience with Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA). This position requires one (1) year of experience with the following skills: Market Impact and volume forecasting models and application to trading and trading cost analysis; Evaluation of algorithmic strategy performance; and algorithmic trading models including intraday and auction volume model forecasting, and market impact model. This position requires any amount of experience with the following skills: KDB and Python including the use of both for scheduled and reports on aggregated data from large datasets; Financial Information exchange (FIX) for equity trading; Using datasets for actionable decisions and time series charts from tabular data; and analyzing large data sets of equities data and execution of performance data.

Full-Time. Salary: $260,000 - $350,000 per year.
