Job Summary: As a Control Manager Vice President within the Client Onboarding and Documentation team, you will focus on Risk Identification & Assessment, Control Design & Testing, and Control Governance & Reporting. You will leverage technology platforms to enhance our control environment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Your leadership will foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with stakeholders to drive process improvements and innovation in control practices. Provide subject matter expertise for regulatory exams and internal audits, ensuring compliance standards are met. Engage with senior leadership to align control strategies with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain knowledge of Client Onboarding & Documentation policies and procedures.
- Lead risk identification and assessment processes using the CORE system.
- Design and implement effective control frameworks.
- Conduct control testing and validation for compliance and efficiency.
- Oversee control governance and reporting for transparency and accountability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive process improvements.
- Provide expertise for regulatory exams and internal audits.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Influence and engage with senior leadership for strategic alignment.
- Manage control committees and forums for decision-making.
- Implement anti-fraud and cybersecurity measures to protect operations.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Strong AML/KYC knowledge and understanding of the onboarding/KYC lifecycle.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in control management or risk assessment.
- Proven track record in designing control frameworks focused on risk identification.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Expertise in control management within the financial services sector.
- Capability to implement anti-fraud strategies and cybersecurity measures.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and tech literacy.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience with the CORE system for control management.
- Familiarity with Digital Document Services and Wholesale KYC Operations.
- Ability to leverage AI/ML technology in risk management.
- Advanced digital literacy for effective use of digital tools.
- Excellent influence skills for engaging stakeholders.
- Effective mentoring skills to develop team members.
- Competence in quantitative reporting for data analysis.
Required or Additional Information:

- Work schedules will be full-time in office, on a 40-hour per week schedule.
