Job Summary:
As a Business Assistant in the Corporate Investment Bank, you will provide one-on-one support to senior executives with diverse administrative duties. You will be part of a team that values confidentiality, strong work ethics, and a common-sense approach. This role offers the opportunity to engage with high-level business connections and understand the political landscape within the organization. You will be integral to the business, understanding group priorities and expectations, and working closely with business managers on additional projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized support by managing diary using Outlook for seamless coordination of meetings and appointments.
- Arrange complex travel plans, including flights, accommodation, and transportation.
- Set up high volume executive meetings, conference calls, and events both internally and externally.
- Process coverage expenses through Concur and manage account reconciliations.
- Utilize internal systems for accurate data entry and system functionality.
- Collaborate with assistants across the group for backup coverage during absences.
- Represent the company with integrity and confidentiality, influencing peers positively.
- Train new Business Assistants and collaborate on executive coverage.
- Undertake projects aligned with business needs, including reporting and document creation.
- Perform general administrative duties such as room bookings and stationery ordering.
- Partner effectively with peers and exhibit flexibility in a pressured environment.
- Potential to take on supervisory responsibilities and lead initiatives.
