Join our team and lead the charge in deploying cutting-edge AI/ML and LLM solutions. This role offers the opportunity to drive business transformation through strategic planning, research, and innovation in AI technologies.
As an Applied AI/ML Director, you will develop and implement a comprehensive AI/ML strategy aligned with organizational goals. You will explore state-of-the-art machine learning methods, design robust system architectures, and lead cross-functional projects to drive innovation and business transformation.
Job responsibilities:
- Develop AI/ML strategies, identify opportunities, and set project priorities.
- Explore machine learning methods, attend conferences, and drive innovation.
- Design scalable AI/ML architectures and integrate solutions with existing infrastructure.
- Lead AI/ML projects, manage timelines, and develop large-scale frameworks.
- Guide development, optimize performance, and ensure model quality.
- Build and mentor a diverse team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Act as a liaison, translating technical concepts into business insights.
- Mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor metrics and implement optimization strategies.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Advanced degree (PhD); MS with significant experience acceptable) in relevant fields.
- Expertise in machine learning areas such as deep learning, NLP, and recommendation systems.
- Extensive experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Ability to design experiments and evaluate model performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with big data tools and cloud-native deployment.
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Leadership experience in AI/ML initiatives is highly desirable.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Strong background in Mathematics and Statistics.
- Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with search algorithms, reinforcement learning, and data-driven product development.
