As an Assistant Vice President in the Corporate Equities Legal Team, you will work on complex APAC and cross-border derivative transactions. You will provide critical legal and regulatory advice, ensuring the success of our market-leading business. Join us to foster an inclusive culture and drive impactful results.
Our team advises on a wide range of corporate equities transactions, including structured OTC equity derivatives and margin financing. Collaborate with Sales and Trading teams, external counsel, and internal risk functions to navigate legal challenges and innovate solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
- Advise on legal and regulatory aspects of corporate equity derivative transactions.
- Review deal structures and documentation to identify and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with business teams from transaction start to close.
- Develop relationships with external counsel across jurisdictions.
- Work on cross-border transactions with legal colleagues globally.
- Provide regulatory advice impacting the corporate equity derivatives business.
- Assist in regulatory change implementation affecting supported businesses.
- Drive process and documentation improvements.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in law with a minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience.
- Experienced derivatives lawyer with strong technical skills and ISDA documentation familiarity.
- Excellent analytical abilities and judgment under time pressure.
- Effective organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong interest in financial markets and transactional work.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in corporate derivatives and margin loans.
- Strong commercial aptitude and client contact experience.
