As an Assistant Vice President in the APAC DCM Lending Legal team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Commercial & Investment Bank's lending activities. You will work closely with regional lawyers in Hong Kong, providing legal guidance on acquisition and leveraged finance, infrastructure finance, and more. Your contributions will help us navigate complex legal and regulatory landscapes, ensuring we meet our business goals while mitigating risks.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the documentation, negotiation, and execution of lending transactions.
- Provide legal support to the wider team, including cross-border transaction structuring.
- Identify and advise on legal and regulatory issues and developments.
- Support the APAC business with legal queries and act as a trusted advisor.
- Build relationships with stakeholders to help the business meet its targets.
- Participate in departmental projects and contribute to strategic priorities.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Qualified lawyer with a minimum of four years of post-qualification experience
- Strong technical knowledge of APLMA and LMA loan documentation.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and legal analytical skills.
- Understanding of regulatory matters affecting lending.
- Ability to balance commercial goals with protecting JPMorgan's interests.
- Confident, proactive, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate large projects.
- Licensed to practice law and a member in good standing in the jurisdiction.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Knowledge of guarantees and security documents is an advantage.
