About This Role

iRhythm is looking for a Software Engineer keen to advance the software stack at a rapidly growing company.   We need someone to join a team responsible for evolving our platform, building new services and maintaining old ones.

As a member of the platform engineering team, you will immediately help drive our fundamental infrastructure forward.  You will help evolve and maintain critical services related to medical device intake processing, billing, and authentication.   You will help evolve our system towards international markets.

Your work will impact the lives of millions of patients and their physicians.

Note this role will work remote from a US based home office. We are unable to offer any sort of sponsorship for this role.

Your responsibility will include:

  • Engineering server-side software and web services to integrate with our, and other platforms.
  • Collaborating with product management to understand and discover requirements.
  • Being an active member of a scrum team, providing regular status updates on assigned tasks.
  • Working with QA to ensure a high quality product.
  • Trouble shooting issues found in production.
  • Fostering a strong software engineer environment through code reviews and unit tests.

 Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Java, object-oriented programming and software engineering
  • 1+ years of developing RESTfull web services.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field

Additional Preferences:

  • Initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Experience as a member of a Scrum team.
  • Experience with a subset of Spring, AWS, hibernate, and/or mySQL.

Estimated Pay Range
$110,100$145,000 USD
