Cardiac Technician XT – San Francisco

• This is a hybrid/onsite/work-from-home position; a strong internet connection will be necessary. 
• In-office requirement: 2 days a month/1 workday a week, every other week.  
• You MUST live within 50 miles of our San Francisco, CA office in order to be considered for this opportunity.

Work Schedule: 

• Monday – Friday: 5-day work week/40-hours per work week
• 8:00am – 4:30pm (PST)

Specific job responsibilities include:

• Reading, interpreting and reporting on 90 second ECG strips in a fast-paced environment
• Continuously develop clinical knowledge, particularly ECG rhythm interpretation skills
• Perform 100% of the quality assurance of reports provided to medical professionals, and provide report format modifications and additions as requested
• Communicate critical findings to medical professionals verbally and in writing
• Contact patients via telephone to obtain follow-up transmissions as indicated

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated capability in rhythm analysis and interpretation
• Experience in ECG interpretation preferred
  • In lieu of experience; ECG/EKG Technician Certification from an accredited program required
• Associate’s degree or 2 years college course work (preferred) High School Diploma or GED (required)
• CCT Certification Requirement: If you’re not currently CCT certified, you will have 90 days after the conclusion of training to become certified. iRhythm will reimburse the cost of the certification. 
  • Other related certifications or licenses may qualify (e.g., RN or Paramedic-P)
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Knowledge of medical terminology specific to cardiology is helpful
• Intermediate level PC proficient
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills 
• Excellent attention to detail
• Positive attitude and team player
