Job Description
Primary Function of Position
This Senior FP&A Analyst position partners directly with Corporate Operations executive leadership in the end-to-end financial planning and management of their organizations. This role will own headcount and spend forecasting, operational metrics tracking and ad hoc analysis for their groups. This highly collaborative position requires mastery of the detail and a deep understanding of support organizations combined with pro-active and effective communication, and ability to develop meaningful work relationships with multiple executive business partners.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary Finance business partner to finance function.
- Drive budget development, management, and capacity planning processes with continuous improvement to efficiency and quality.
- Prepare and present detailed and actionable analysis to the FP&A and business leadership.
- Develop and report key business metrics & provide trend analysis.
- Ensure adequate internal controls are in place and Company accounting policies are adhered to.
- Review headcount and expense requisitions; highlighting items which are outside of budget parameters.
- Prepare monthly budgets versus actuals cost analysis for presentation to executive management.
Qualifications
Skill/Job Requirements:
- Minimum 4-6 years of relevant finance or accounting experience involving budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and project management.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to resolve conflict, drive consensus, and reach conclusions.
- Ability to succinctly and accurately present findings to management and executive leadership.
- Proven self-starter with the ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and commitment to excellence.
- Strong analytical skills and high capacity for growth and the ability to change along with the Company.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Tableau and SQL.
- Experience with financial systems such as SAP and Anaplan is preferred
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field.
- MBA and/or CPA are a plus.
- This role requires working onsite in our Sunnyvale, CA office Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday every week.
