Principal Motion Designer

• 10+ years of experience developing, designing and animating 2D and 3D motion deliverables for leading brands and/or agencie
• A world-class portfolio of original work that demonstrates your talent and expertise for animation and motion design. We'd like to see examples that showcase your experience in developing and executing various forms of motion design and animation across video, event and stand alone campaigns and executions
• Experience integrating motion design in video production and post production workflows
• Experience developing, animating and delivering 2D and 3D motion design deliverables for live and pre-recorded events
• Proven record of delivering beautiful 2D and 3D motion design deliverables across large and small productions and budgets.
• Familiarity with Keynote, Adobe Premiere and Adobe Creative Suite
• A collaborative mindset. As a principal motion designer, you will be accountable for end-to-end development and animation both as a singular driver and as a contributor in collaboration with producers, copywriters, strategists and event managers.
• An audience-first approach to your storytelling. You'll use empathy and audience insights to inform your creative.
• A passion and excitement for all things motion design. You love the work and you are a continuous student of the craft.
• Experience with co-creation and/or design thinking methodologies.
• Ability to balance multiple productions of varying scope at one time.

• Strong communications (written/verbal), presentation and facilitation skills.

• Strong process and project management skills.
• Fluency in After Effects, Cinema4D, Adobe Illustrator, and Figma

• This is a hands-on role leading the development and animation of world class motion design for internal and external-facing projects (brand campaigns, organic social, GTM initiatives) and events (live, virtual, and hybrid).
• You'll use insights and deep customer empathy to develop and pitch creative concepts.
• You'll collaborate to inform overall design direction for events and campaigns and translate that direction into elegant, elevated motion design
• You'll manage and give direction to external motion design partners and agencies
• You'll work closely with internal and external video producers and editors managing post workflows for motion graphics in video deliverables
• You'll have open collaboration with creative, strategy, project management, and stakeholder partners. Our team runs on co-creation and design thinking.
