Overview

As the Head of Strategic Technology Partnerships at Intuit Mailchimp, your primary role will be to lead, develop, and inspire our team of Strategic Partner Managers, creating a cohesive unit capable of growing successful partnerships with some of the world's prominent technology companies - Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, Meta, Square, among others.

You will be responsible for growing Mailchimp's revenue through technology partners by leading the team to jointly develop go-to-market plans, support joint product roadmap development, and establishing senior level relationships with partner stakeholders. Your leadership will be critical for the team members as they navigate complex engagements internally and externally, keeping them focused on growth objectives while fostering innovation and synergy for success.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience with a track record of success in business development and partnerships, with emphasis on leading teams and forming partnerships with technology companies
  • Exceptional team building and leadership abilities; adept at inspiring and guiding teams towards achieving business targets
  • Proven negotiation and deal-making skills, capable of managing intricate agreements with large partners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of cultivating strong relationships across various business levels
  • Proficiency in data analysis; data-driven decision-making approach
  • Prior experience in a dynamic, high-growth business setting is a plus.

How you will lead

  • Provide dynamic leadership for a team of Strategic Partner Managers, shaping professional development and facilitating a high-performance work environment
  • Drive the strategy for a managed book of technology partnerships, setting clear objectives and actionable go-to-market strategies to achieve goals
  • Liaison with partner leadership teams, forming trusted ties and working towards shared goals that yield mutual benefits
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams including product, sales, marketing, product, design, and engineering to align partnership initiatives with Mailchimp's business objectives
  • Facilitate your team in bolstering partner-related sales and marketing activities, conducting complex negotiations, and setting up robust performance tracking mechanisms
  • Continually scan the market for new opportunities for partnerships and direct the team on seizing such potential growth avenues
