Copywriter

Overview

Intuit is on a mission to power prosperity around the world for consumers, small businesses, and the self-employed. Our Brand and Transformation team (B+T) brings that mission to life through high-impact experiences, events, advertising, marketing campaigns, and other creative expressions for internal and external audiences.

As a Copywriter for Intuit, you'll join a cross-disciplinary team of marketers, strategists, producers, designers, and writers who are building the Intuit brand together. On the B+T team, you'll play an integral role as a key contributor to creative theming, concepting, and copywriting across end-to-end events, experiences, and campaigns.

What you'll bring

• A world-class copywriting portfolio of original work that demonstrates your talent and expertise for creative copywriting. We'd like to see examples that showcase your work across a range of projects such as digital, websites, social media, campaigns, and events.
• Experience writing for websites including UX copy, SEO, and website content.
• An audience-first approach, with writing informed by compelling audience insights.
• A range of copywriting styles. You can flex your approach from head to heart to funnybone to meet the needs of your audience.
• Experience working within creative teams and with cross-functional partners. You thrive in team environments.
• You have 5+ years experience as a copywriter with a focus on writing for brands with strong digital presence, either in-house or on the agency side.
• You have experience with co-creation and/or design thinking methodologies.
• You are able to work in-person at least two days a week in the office (Mountain View or Woodland Hills)

• Collaborate within the Intuit copy team to help develop and evolve the Intuit Voice and Tone Guidelines.
• Sweat the details. As a writer and lover of words, you have strong attention to detail and take great care picking perfect words - you'd also happily spend an afternoon debating the difference between "crispy" and "crunchy".
