Job Description

The Client Graphics and AI group (CGAI) Platform team is looking for an outstanding and distinguished Product Architect to drive a growing portfolio of discrete graphics products. This is a senior technical leadership position for experienced and highly accomplished lead SOC, Platform, and System Architects who want to broaden their impact and technical strengths.

Responsibilities include but not limited:
Set technical direction for next-generation discrete graphics product architecture.
Map strategic product goals to end-to-end use cases and define detailed architecture requirements for next-generation products.
Drive next-generation products concepts: create product architecture feature and KPI bounding boxes; set and drive power and performance goals and projections.

Create TCO and other analytical models to justify architectural tradeoffs.
Author Product Requirements Document (PRD) covering IP, SOC, FW, Package, Board, Module, Platform, and System level features.
Form close partnerships with finance and business leadership to comprehend financial goals and business tradeoffs.
Help form product architecture strategy.
Be the primary technical interface to key customers and senior executives at Intel.
Be the main technical point for the product from concept to production.

As a successful candidate you must possess:

The ability to work across organizational boundaries.

The ability to speak to technical leadership and executives - able to distill complex topics to senior executives concisely.

Passion and vision for discrete GPU strategy

Knowledge about the AI and Graphics ecosystem and competitive landscape.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications (must have)

Bachelors in EE/CE/CS or any STEM related degree with over 10+ years of Industry experience

Over 9+ years of experience in 3 or more of the following

GPU Product Architecture, SOC architecture, System architecture

Previous experience as a lead Platform and/or System Architect.

Technical breadth spanning different IP: AI accelerators, GPUs (graphics, media, compute IP), Memory sub-systems, Storage sub-systems, SOC fabrics, Security and Reset/Boot flows.

Experience in Power management, Power delivery, and working knowledge of Platform Thermals and Packaging technologies.

Experience in benchmarks and modern workloads in AI and Gaming industry, Pre-Si and Post-Si Performance analysis for optimization of these workloads.

Working knowledge of FW and SW/Driver issues that affect Power and Performance of different workloads.

Preferred Qualifications:(Good to have)

Master's degree EE/CE/CS or any STEM related degree with over 8+ years of Industry experience and PhD in any STEM related field with 7+ years of experience.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Washington, California: $162,041.00-$259,425.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
