Job Description

DMO-Disaggregated Manufacturing Organization will play an important role in Intel's IDM 2.0 strategy to meet the accelerating global demand for semiconductors. NM-DMO has a unique charter to not only deliver high-volume manufacturing products but additionally design and develop Silicon Photonics-SiP, EMIB, Foveros, and Intel Foundry Systems programs.

This position is for an individual contributor who will drive High Performance Manufacturing (HPM) practices direction for an aligned F11X department. They will apply Lean philosophies and rules and leverage partnerships with department Area Managers, group leaders, other Department Training and HPM Leaders, as well as a site HPM Coordinator to achieve world class manufacturability. Additionally, the candidate will own department-level training plans and activities, including vendor requests.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Drive World Class performance on Green-To-Green (GTG), Unscheduled vs Scheduled, and across standardized 168-hour teams.
  • Partner with other Department HPM Leaders to deploy and validate the implementation of corporate-level HPM programs and changes across organizational boundaries.
  • Coordinate and drive department HPM activities and programs.
  • Train methods and execute department HPM Kaizen and Preventative Maintenance (PM) boot camps. Apply SCANDO methodologies across the 168-hour team for all factory workspaces and implement solutions at a high cadence.
  • Be an Infinity expert and train department group leaders in application.
  • Coordinate structured training events across 168-hour team and own tool-based training requests. Manage a department HPM and training calendar.
  • Assume ownership of projects designed to improve efficiencies and capabilities of the Manufacturing Technicians Hololens, supply cabinets, etc.
  • Maintain lockstep alignment with Area Manager on department strategic vision.
  • Required: at least 20 percent of hours worked will be on Shift 4/Shift 6.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits/skills:

  • Problem solving, planning and good teamwork, work across organizational boundaries skills.
  • History of creating new project ideas, formulating them into proposals, aligning with stakeholders, test in pilot, efficiently deploy, and see through to continuous improvement.
  • Time management, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have a BS degree or higher technical degree in electronics, microelectronics, electrical engineering, technology or related fields or equivalent military experience.
  • BS with 3+ years or MS with 2+ years or 10+ years of industry experience in lieu of degree managing and deploying training programs.
  • Demonstrated experience project management.
  • This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of factory experience.
