Head of Insights and Planning for NEX Category

Job Description

The Head of NEX Category Insights and Planning for the Networking and Edge Computing (NEX) drives the overall Category strategy and its execution in collaboration with all stakeholders such as Segment leaders, Marketing, Partner, Sales, Pricing and Regions. This role brings together all elements of Strategy and Planning to create Category sales plan for the NEX Category.

Intel's NEX business is chartered with driving technology and product leadership throughout the network to the intelligent edge. Product segments include Networking, IOT, Edge Computing, Wireless Core and Wireless Network Function Virtualization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead insights creation that will drive overall sales and profitability for the business.
  • Identify opportunities for sales growth and expansion in the category and develop strategies using customer insights, key market data and analytics.
  • Influence annual business plan development and 4P planning (Product, Price, Promo, Place) for each segment.
  • Drive competitive insights through structured data analytics using Intel and industry reports as well as insights through regional teams, channel partners and customer engagements.
  • Update Sales Coverage models, Routes to market and regional strategies based on customer segmentation.
  • Represent NEX Category sales in various executive forums and industry events.
  • Collaborate across all stakeholders including business unit, partner alliances, marketing, finance and regional teams to drive necessary execution of the growth plan.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Management Consulting and/or Corporate Strategy.
  • Strategic mindset with strong understanding of diverse business functions including Product, Marketing, Finance, Channels and Go to Market.
  • Led strategic initiatives and projects, including executive office strategic discussions and the implementation of new business models.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to digest and interpret large datasets and drive action from category and shopper insights.
  • Skilled in formulating and implementing strategies to expand the business.
  • Proven leadership abilities in managing matrix reports and collaborating with senior key business partners to achieve successful sales outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 12+ year relevant experience
  • Post graduate degree in Business Administration with Technical/Engineering Background or equivalent experience.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $195,317.00-$341,559.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
