Job Description

We are searching for an Employee Communications Strategist. Employee Communications and Employer Brand (ECEB) is part of Intel's Global Communications Group, a worldwide team of communications professionals working to build and protect Intel's reputation as the world's best semiconductor company. The group spans public relations, reputation management, corporate communications, executive communications, analyst relations, content, narrative, thought leadership, and employee communications. It's a fast-paced, dynamic and exciting environment.

The employee communications strategist role is a fast-paced, strategic position and with visibility and influence across Intel business groups. You will engage and counsel a variety of stakeholders to communicate some of Intel's most important initiatives and transformation updates. As an integral member of the employee communications team, you will deliver communication strategies with professional and innovative materials supporting a variety of programs and initiatives centered on changes or crises impacting the company, employees and additional stakeholders.

This communications strategist will:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive communication strategies engage and support employees during times of crisis or change, fostering a sense of understanding and transparency.
  • Provide counsel to business unit leaders and support staff to ensure communications during times of crisis and change are aligned with approved messaging and overall business objectives.
  • Handle confidential information with the highest discretion, ensuring communication plans are executed with sensitivity and integrity.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Building multi-channel comms strategies to inform, influence and engage our employee audiences.
  • Managing and providing input into a suite of playbooks including the crisis communications playbook.
  • Monitoring campaign effectiveness by establishing success metrics, analyzing results and benchmarking.
  • Managing an integrated communications calendar, production schedules and other project management activities.

  • Act as a trusted advisor and handle confidential information with a high degree discretion.
  • Provide strong leadership presence and presentation skills to influence a variety of stakeholders, including executives.
  • Deliver expertise in managing multiple initiatives simultaneously and anticipating potential challenges.
  • Works well in ambiguous situation, with a mindset of ownership and accountability and stays highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving techniques and flexibility in finding answers to comprehend and address complex projects and initiatives.
  • Works well under pressure.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of communications experience in technology, working on visible projects with executive exposure.
  • 8+ years of delivering and improving communication best practices, employee engagement and the overall employee experience.
  • 3+ years of experience Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

Global Marketing & Communications is responsible for Intel's brand management, end-user product marketing and go-to-market activation strategy for direct and indirect marketing programs worldwide

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $123,139.00-$203,801.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
