Job Title: Solutions Architect

Position Summary

The Solutions Architect will be responsible for managing and leading the functional solution architecture for existing and future customers. The Solutions Architect will be responsible for assisting the sales team to define the appropriate solution approach, as well as ensuring the appropriate execution of that strategy. The Solutions Architect will be the project point person for the functional team and project management to ensure adequate solution delivery on all engagements.

Responsibilities

Monument consulting is a total Workforce Management firm, and our solution architects must be able to support the solutioning, configuration, and rollout of SuccessFactors by our clients. Monument's solution architects must understand the architecture of SuccessFactors and know how to design integrations within SuccessFactors. The Solutions Architect will lead the requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and deployment of SuccessFactors, as well as system integrations per the assigned project.

  • Responsible for overall project system architecture and design and will acts as the primary project lead, architect and point of contact.
  • Review project plan with project managers and ensure all integration points have been detailed and have accurate resource load.
  • Work closely with project managers to identify and prioritize project risks and issues and assist with developing remediation plans.
  • Able to solution, functional/technical leadership, setting up configurations and resolving complex requirements.
  • Create, document and communicate innovative solutions to solve project and client requirements.
  • Review key project material and deliverables with functional and technical consultants to ensure quality and completeness.
  • Communicate information in a clear, concise and understandable manner.
  • Effectively communicate progress of the project to management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor the progress and risks of projects and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion of the project.
  • Interface with all client, management and project levels on solution implementation progress, technical issues, proper practices and requirements.
  • Assist in defining the scope, solution and approach to assist the sales team with quoting, negotiating, and closing sales initiatives.
  • Keep current on applicable product enhancements and industry trends.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of functional and technical experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and tactful way with senior management, clients, peers and team members.
  • Highly creative person with a sense of responsibility who is skilled in developing unique solutions.
  • Ability to take initiative and overcome obstacles to exceed a client's expectations.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience with full lifecycle implementation projects.
  • Minimum two (2) years of consulting experience.
  • Current certification in two (2) SAP SuccessFactors modules; should include either Employee Central or Employee Central Payroll.
