As a Senior Data Scientist in our Data and AI CoE you will be part of our core consulting team that helps our customers solve problems, tackle projects, and embrace any challenge. You will work with a diverse and specialized team of solution architects, engineers, and analysts to design, prototype, and deliver data science demos, proofs-of-concept, and scalable solutions using platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Databricks and Snowflake and languages such as Python and R. You will also stay updated on technology and ecosystem trends, especially those related to data science, AI and ML.

Responsibilities
- Leverage/create approved solution assets to design and prototype the specific architecture of AI/ML and data science solutions for our customers using technology platforms such as; Microsoft Azure, AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks leveraging your skills and the assistance of our Technical Activation team while ensuring that any AI/ML or data science solution does not violate any copyrights or governance practices.
- Communicate system requirements and specifications to key stakeholders through design and prototyping ensuring a smooth hand-off to delivery teams, customer expectations are met, and that solutions are scalable within an ongoing ML Ops scenario.
- Provide ongoing leadership advisory oversight to delivery teams and data consumers across the broader practice organization.
- Monitor and optimize the quality, performance and security of our Data & AI solutions collaborating with solutions architects to vet and incorporate refinements back into the core solution asset base.

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
- Five to seven years proven experience as a data scientist developing and supporting operationalized data science work against business outcomes across one or more industry verticals.
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks or equivalent cloud technologies, data platforms, and AI/ML tools.
- Basic Knowledge of data modeling (OLTP & OLAP), data formats (e.g. Avro, Parquet), and data pipelines (e.g. ADF, Databricks).
- Strong knowledge of deep learning, machine learning, and modeling tool along with programming and scripting languages (C++, Java, Python, R, Scala, SAS, SQL).
- Experience with data science in the context of event streaming platforms (e.g. Kafka) and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
- Excellent communication (internal and client-facing), problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team (peer-to-peer and team leadership).
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing customer needs.
